DMOS—short for Do My Own Sh*t (or Stuff, if Grandma's asking)—started in Wyoming in 2015 when founder Susan Pieper watched her son snap one junk shovel after another building kicker jumps in their yard.
Instead of buying another throwaway tool, she said screw it—I’ll build a better one. That backyard frustration kicked off a mission: design smarter, tougher tools for people who get things done.
