Pro Builds: DMOS x Chuckles Garage

We linked up with Scott Birdsall at Chuckles Garage to learn more about his legendary Nuke Van and why he chose DMOS as his go-to-tool for his overlanding adventures and builds. Read his story below.
Story behind the Nuke Van build
This van is a 1953 Ford Van that was built by the California Department of Defense in the 50's during the Cold War for fast response in the event of nuclear war. There were only three made and this is the only one left in existence. Scott discovered it through a client a few years ago and helped him build it out, then he bought it back from him to make it the ultimate camper rig and off-roader.
I chose the DMOS shovel for my Nuke Van project because the fit and finish is without equal. The fact that it folds into such a compact package makes it perfect for hanging on the back of the Nuke Van. No need to waste precious storage space inside. I also use them exclusively on our Resolute Motorsports Overland Porsche builds (see below).
How did you discover DMOS?
I heard of DMOS through my partner at Resolute Motorsports.
What’s the most memorable place you’ve taken your build?
