Overland Expo SoCal 2026 Recap: A Standout Event for DMOS

The 2026 Overland Expo SoCal was an outstanding success across the board. With strong attendance and an impressive lineup of vendors, the event delivered an incredible experience for both exhibitors and attendees alike. For DMOS Pro Shovel Tools, it was an especially rewarding weekend—we had the opportunity to connect with a large number of consumers and introduce them to our latest shovels, mounts, tools, and bags.

The biggest highlight of the show was our new Flatmate shovel/axe/tool mount. It quickly became a crowd favorite, drawing in nearly everyone who passed by our booth. The Flatmate impressed attendees with its durable machined aluminum construction, its ability to accommodate a wide variety of tools, and its integrated locking capability. The response was so strong that we sold out of our entire show inventory on the very first day.

While many people know DMOS for our innovative shovels, the Axpedition Hybrid 23.5-inch axe also generated significant buzz. Attendees consistently praised its ideal size, lightweight feel, and comfortable grip. We had high expectations for the Axpedition when it launched, and the overlanding community has embraced this hybrid as the “just right” size of axe—the perfect balance of portability and power.

Of course, our flagship Delta Shovel line continued to get lots of attention throughout the event. Featured on numerous vehicle builds across the show, the Delta shovels were hard to miss. As one attendee put it, “I’ve seen your shovels all over the place this weekend!”.

DMOS is proud to be part of the overlanding community and honored to see our tools trusted and showcased by so many enthusiasts. It’s always rewarding when existing owners stop by just to tell us, “I love my shovel.” Moments like these—and events like Overland Expo—remind us why we do what we do.
